THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ARIZONA LADY (*L J Ferraris) refused to load. The starting stall certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. Trainer G M Alexander was advised (GT). b) KISSED BY FIRE (R Danielson) was restless in the stalls. c) HOT GOODS (S Brown) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. d) WAY TO DREAM (*N Klink) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In the concluding stages, SMELTING (D Schwarz) and GYPSY MAGIC (W Kennedy) were carried in by MAUBY (*J R Syster) which was hanging in from the 600m Apprentice J R Syster appeared before the Board and was advised to take more immediate measures to keep his mounts straight in races. b) In view of the Starter's report with regard to ARIZONA LADY, this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading with a companion. Suspension dates: 09.12.20 to the 15.12.20. ARIZONA LADY may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer G M Alexander was advised. c) MAGICAL FLIGHT (L Hewitson), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
