SIERRA LINE broke through the front gate, dislodged the rider and bolted, was withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon, causing a delay. FREEDOM FLASHING was slow losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. DAY TRIP jumped outwards. FLYING SQUADRON was slow into stride. In view of the report from the Starter regarding SIERRA LINE, Trainer Marshall was advised that this filly's starting stall certificate was withdrawn and she was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable. SIERRA LINE may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Jockey Cheyne, rider of SILVERY HEIGHTS reported that this filly took no interest throughout. In view of the performance from SILVER HEIGHTS, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly on her return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. Apprentice Mbhele, rider of BONNIE BEERS reported that this filly took no interest in running in the straight. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly on her return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. FEE FI FOE FUM which pulled hard in the early stages, Jockey Orffer reported that this filly tired badly in the straight and he did not persevere with his riding in the latter stages. JE NE SAIS QUOI was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. DAY TRIP raced fitted with ear muffs. Vet: SILVERY HEIGHTS and BONNIE BEERS - returned blowing. FEE FI FOE FUM - returned fatigued. Scratched: FOREST FIELD - cellulitis on the right fore. (Under medication, Veterinary report submitted). A further Veterinary report was submitted on 23 April 2019 and the suspension was lifted. SIERRA LINE - bolted course, mouth injury, was withdrawn.
