YAQUEEN was slow losing one length. SHAKESPEARE INLOVE was slow losing two lengths. BORN TO SHINE hanging-out throughout, particularly on the turn. In view of the performance of MILL CREEK, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Jockey Danielson, the rider of MILL CREEK appeared before the Board and was afforded the opportunity to explain this filly's poor run. He advised the Board that the filly was well placed and raced according to instructions. From the 300m, Jockey Danielson felt that the filly had run its race and had nothing to come. In his opinion, this MILL CREEK is better suited to shorter distance races than this 1700m race. DOUBLE TAP was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. MISSY FRANKLIN raced equipped with cheek pieces on. Vet: MILL CREEK - examined post-race and nothing untoward was found.
