The start of this Race was delayed due to the late scratching of the tote favorite, ISIKHWAMI SAMI by the Veterinary Surgeon at the start. All horses were removed from the starting stalls as time was taken to allow the betting public to re-structure their bets. ISIKHWAMI SAMI reared in the stalls, was removed, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and was scratched. COLOURS, MARSANNE, PRINCESS SIDI and HIT THE GAS lost one length. MARSANNE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. PINK ROSE was hanging in, in the straight. In view of the Starter's report with regard to ISIKHWAMI SAMI, this filly's starting stall certificate was withdrawn and she was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time she proves tractable with a companion. ISIKHWAMI SAMI may not be presented for re-passing during this period. PINK ROSE raced with alumites. Scratched: BERRY FLAMBEAU - no transport. ISIKHWAMI SAMI - injured in starting stalls.
