As the start was affected LILY BLUE reared up causing a false start. The horses were reloaded and then fair break for the field. Apprentice Matsunyane, the rider of ZAREVENA, reported that this filly made an abnormal respiratory noise. The Course Veterinary Surgeon was asked to examine this filly LILY BLUE took an awkward stride at approximately the 100m. LOVE TO BLUFF was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: ZAREVENA - examined post-race and had a respiratory tract noise and compromised airflow.
