SARAH'S PRINCE (NZ) lost 1 length and thereafter was slow into stride. KHEELAN DYNASTY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Kotzen was questioned regarding the improved performance of KHEELAN DYNASTY, compared to this gelding's previous run on the 19th April 2019. He could offer the Board no explanation other than in his opinion this gelding appears to be better suited to racing at Scottsville. The future performances of KHEELAN DYNASTY will be monitored. CASSIUS COLT raced wide in the early stages. Apprentice Gates the rider of EXCESSIVE GRACE reported this filly refused to gallop and lost ground to the field from the 800-metre mark and as a result did not persevere with his ride in the straight. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. In view of the performance of MYRRH the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. Vet: MYRRH - nothing obvious detected. EXCESSIVE GRACE - fatigued and heat stress.
