The start of this Race was delayed due to the farrier having to refit the right fore shoe on THOMAS SHELBY at the start. ALL THE WAY UP lost one length. RASPUTIN'S REMEDY was squeezed out shortly after the start. TORO BRAVO was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Binda was questioned with regard to the improved performance of TORO BRAVO, compared to this colt's previous performance. Trainer Binda could offer no suitable explanation for the improvement shown. Trainer Binda's attention was drawn to the Rules pertaining to in and out running. The future performances of TORO BRAVO will be monitored by the Stipendiary Board. FASHION CHIC was hanging in throughout. TORO BRAVO was hanging in badly in the straight. ALL THE WAY UP and RASPUTIN'S REMEDY raced green. RASPUTIN'S REMEDY was momentarily inconvenienced on the inside running rail approaching the 200m. In view of the performances of NOBLE BEAT and SHADRACK, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these geldings. WINTER TWILIGHT raced unshod. NOBLE BEAT raced with cheek pieces. Vet: NOBLE BEAT - nothing obvious detected. SHADRACK - lame right fore. Scratched: LUCARA - heat left fore fetlock.
