GIANT CRUISE stumbled leaving the stalls. WINDY FLIGHT and GENERAL JACKSON were slow into stride. Jockey Steyn was unable to mount SAINT MICHAEL on numerous occasions due to this gelding's behavior. Thereafter SAINT MICHAEL reared, fell over and refused to proceed to the start. Taking this gelding's previous history and behavior into consideration, he was suspended for a period of ninety days and until such time as he proves tractable parading, cantering to the start and loading in the starting stalls. GIANT CRUISE stumbled shortly after the start resulting in Jockey Lerena becoming unbalanced for a number of strides. ORCHID STREET shifted both ways away from the crop from the 300m. ASHBAAL (AUS) was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Scratched: SAINT MICHAEL - reared over backwards. LYNTYS LEGACY - uncomfortable behind.
