The start of this race was delayed due to the late scratching of ROCKING THE BLUES who refused to load. ROCKING THE BLUES refused to load and was withdrawn. FALLING FOR YOU was nervous and kicked the back gate in the stalls. FIRST KNIGHT was slow away. GIACOMO was nervous in the stalls and stubborn loading. MTAKATYI was nervous in the stalls. CYCLONE JACK was nervous in the stalls, reared at the off, slow away and lost 2 lengths. In view of the Starter's report with regard to ROCKING THE BLUES, this filly's starting stall certificate was withdrawn and she was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable to jump on terms. ROCKING THE BLUES may not be presented for re-passing during this period. In view of the Starter's report pertaining CYCLONE JACK, the Board reviewed the start of this race. In this regard, the Board was satisfied that, any loss of distance that CYCLONE JACK had suffered was as a consequence of her own behavior. Therefore, this filly was deemed as runner. Thereafter, in the running, this filly, was difficult to settle in the early stages. MTAKATYI was hanging out from the 200m. BOLD STRIKE shifted out to continue his run in the concluding stages. AMBER TREE and MIO GRANDE were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: FRED THE RED - post-race distress syndrome. GIACOMO - blood in mouth. Scratched: ROCKING THE BLUES - refused to load.
