RUSH HOUR GIRL was slow into stride. Due to a technical issue with stall gates 5 and 6, the field was loaded accordingly. Approaching the 400m DYNAMIC DIANA was switched out to continue its run. In view of the performance from CANUKEEPITSECRET, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly on her return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. Jockey Zackey, rider of LESEDI LA RONA reported that this filly made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. RUN FOX RUN (AUS) was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. RAYA BAYA (AUS) raced fitted with alumite bar shoes in front, and alumites behind. Vet: CANUKEEPITSECRET and LESEDI LA RONA - examined post-race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. MISS KATALIN and PLATINUM CLASS - returned in post-race distress.
