BIZE and MADONNA both lost 1 length. SILVANO'S PRIDE and FRONT AND CENTRE were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. SEVILLE ORANGE was steadied off the heels of SILVANO'S PRIDE near the 1800 meter mark. FRONT AND CENTRE was hanging in over the final 500 meters, shifted in sharply between the 300 and 50 meter marks. BLOSSOM and SEVILLE ORANGE were hanging in in the final straight. RETURN FLIGHT and in turn SANTA CLARA were carried in leaving the 200-meter mark. As a result, PRINCESS IRENE was switched outwards off the heels of RETURN FLIGHT. An Inquiry will be held into this incident. BLOSSOM shifted in slightly in the closing stages carrying SEVILLE ORANGE inwards resulting in PRINCESS IRENE being inconvenienced and carried in. SNAPSCAN took no interest in running. Jockey Danielson the rider of BIZE reported this filly took no interest in running. In view of the performance of CHITENGO, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Vet: BIZE, CHITENGO and SNAPSCAN - nothing obvious detected.
