In arriving at this decision, the Objection Board considered the distance where the alleged interference and intimidation had taken place, the fact that IMMEASURABLE had carried THREE DOG NIGHT out in the concluding stages and that for approximately 100m both these horses had every opportunity to win the race. The Board therefore overruled the objection, allowed the judge's result to stand and refunded Trainer Tarry's objection deposit fee. THREE DOG NIGHT was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. THE RUSSIAN SAILOR raced without a tongue tie, raced equipped with ear muffs and a Cornell collar.
