ELUSIVE GREEN was withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon. NEVERTHELESS and ROCKING THE BLUES were nervous in the stalls. SURPRISE APPROACH (AUS) was slow away and lost 4 lengths. ATTENTION was nervous in the stalls, reared and dislodged Jockey D De Gouveia. RED FOREST was slow into stride. In view of the Starter's report with regard to SURPRISE APPROACH (AUS), this filly's starting stall certificate was withdrawn and she was suspended for a period of 30 days and until such time as she proves tractable to jump on terms. SURPRISE APPROACH (AUS) may not be presented for re-passing during this period. MY PREROGATIVE over raced in the early stages. Thereafter, Jockey Agrella reported that he felt something amiss with MY PREROGATIVE in the running. ELUSIVE GREEN and ATTENTION proved reluctant to canter to the start, Trainer Kotzen and Trainer Bremner were advised respectively that, should these fillies behave in a similar manner in future they may be suspended. Jockey Danielson struck the horse WINTER ORCHID more than three times on consecutive strides. Additionally, Jockey Danielson appeared before the Board, was shown the patrol films of the race and advised to ride his mounts out to the end of the race so as to leave no room for query by the Stewards.
