FILANTROPO was difficult, stubborn to load and was restless in the stalls. Trainer Roberts was advised to re-school this gelding. DARK MOON DOWN lost two lengths. LOOSEN YOUR TIE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. At approximately 100m Jockey Khan the rider of MIGHTY SMART had his crop accidentally struck from his hand by Jockey Hewitson the rider of DARK MOON DOWN. QUANT MASTER raced green on the bend and was hanging out on the bend and in the straight. In view of the performance of QUANT MASTER, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. EDO FURIN, CAMELOTS BEAUTY and DARK MOON DOWN raced green. ITSPRINCEOFPEACE compounded and was not persevered with in the closing stages. In view of this, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. DUTCH ALLEY returned post-race having cast the left fore shoe.
