SNOW REPORT was slow into stride. Shortly after the start DJOCKOVIC had to ease when awkwardly placed on the heels of FINDING CAMELOT, which shifted in. Jockey Orffer, rider of FINDING CAMELOT appeared before the Board and was advised to give more room to runners on his inside in future. Leaving the 350m DOUBLE ALLIANCE was forced to ease for a number of strides when attempting a run between KING OF GEMS and SILVER OPERATOR, when SILVER OPERATOR shifted in slightly and was immediately straightened and KING OF GEMS, which rolled out slightly. This resulted in DOUBLE ALLIANCE being awkwardly placed on the heels of KING OF GEMS for a number of strides. A Member of the Stipendiary called for a race review and after reviewing the patrol films over the final 300m took no further action. Jockey Khumalo reviewed the patrol films over the final 300m and took no further action. SNOW REPORT was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
