TANA'S EAGLE was nervous in the stalls. GO SNOW GIRL GO kicked the back gate in the stalls, was slow away and lost 3 lengths. PRINCESS BLITZ went down to the start incorrectly equipped. However, this issue was resolved behind the pens. An investigation will be opened into this incident. Jockey Bogaleboile appeared before the Board, was shown the patrol films of the race and advised against the practice of using his crop down the shoulder of a horse whilst in the drawn position. LA ROQUETTE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: TIGER STAR and REBEL WILSON - abnormal respiratory noise. ON A PROMISE - not striding out in front. MEGA SCENE - speedy cut right fore. Scratched: THOKZINE - change of surface. IMBALI - stipes' permission. With regard to the scratching of IMBALI, it was established post-declarations that, the horses MBALI and IMBALI were switched. In this regard, IMBALI was erroneously recorded in the declarations rather than the correct horse, MBALI which is Trained by J V A Strydom. In order to prevent any further prejudice, the Board scratched IMBALI with Stipes Permission.
