DARIA proved to be unruly, reared in the stalls and was subsequently scratched by the Veterinary Surgeon. This caused a delay to the start of this race. His hand was reaching for her bridle as the gates were released and PASCHALS SAMORE threw her head to the left and bumped the handler allocated to her, who became unbalanced. The handler held on to PASCHALS SAMORE, pulling her head into stall gate number 7. The Board declared this filly to be a non-runner. In view of the Starter's report with regard to DARIA, this filly was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable. DARIA may not be presented for re-passing during this period.
