THE STARTER REPORTED: a) WINSTON'S NANNY (D Schwarz) was slow losing one length. b) INTIMIDATE (*J R Syster) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. c) JOANNA ESS (M Yeni) was restless in the stalls and thereafter jumped in sharply leaving the stalls. d) ON BROADWAY (C Zackey) stood losing many lengths. The Starting Stall Certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, LOTUS (G Lerena) and WINSTON'S NANNY (D Schwarz) were carried in by JOANNA ESS (M Yeni) which jumped in sharply. b) In view of the Starter's report with regard to ON BROADWAY, this filly has been suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading and jumping on terms with a companion. Suspension dates: 16 December 2020 to 22 December 2020. ON BROADWAY may not be presented for repassing during this period. Stable Employee T Mphele advised (GT). c) Jockey C Maujean reported that SUCCESS STORY changed stride continually in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) YOU DESERVE IT (*J Gates), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C Binda advised (LN). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) ON BROADWAY was ridden by Jockey C Zackey (declared 15 December 2020 at 08H49). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) APPLE ORCHID raced without blinkers (declared 15 December 2020 at 08H12). b) WINSTON'S NANNY Jockey D Schwarz weighed out at 53,7kg, 1kg over the carded weight of which 0,5kg was declared. c) SUCCESS STORY Jockey C Maujean weighed out at 52,6, 0,5kg over the carded weight as declared. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED: a) SUCCESS STORY fatigued. b) INTIMIDATE abnormal respiratory noise. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHINGS. DISQUALIFIED / DECLARED NON-RUNNER: None.
