a) MYSTERY MARK was withdrawn by the Starter for refusing to load and CAPE COMORIN was difficult to load and nervous in the starting stalls. The Starting Stalls Certificate of both these horses have been withdrawn and they are to be re-schooled. Trainers of the respective horses were advised. SANTOLINA and BUSHMAN lost half a length each. In view of the Starter's report, with regard to MYSTERY MARK, this gelding was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable. MYSTERY MARK may not be presented for re-passing during this period. In view of the Starter's report with regard to CAPE COMORIN, this gelding was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable. CAPE COMORIN may not be presented for re-passing during this period. SWEEFT was hanging out badly between the 900m and 600m. BUSHMAN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. CAPE COMORIN in steels. Vet: CAPE COMORIN - examined at the start and was deemed fit to race. Scratched: MYSTERY MARK - withdrawn by the starter for being intractable.
