WALTZING AL refused to load and was scratched by the Starter. This caused a delay to the start of this race. This was compounded by MIGHTY STORM proving difficult to load. WALTZING AL refused to load and was scratched by the Starter. The starting stalls certificate for this gelding was withdrawn. MIGHTY STORM was difficult to load. The starting stalls certificate for this gelding was withdrawn. DOGLIOTTI proved reluctant to canter to the start and had to be led by a handler from the 2200m. This gelding was suspended and until re-certified tractable cantering to the start with a companion on a race day. Jockey Danielson hit the horse DOGLIOTTI more than 12 times in the entire race. In view of the Starter's report with regard to WALTZING AL, this gelding was suspended for a period of 7 days and until re-certified tractable with a companion. WALTZING AL may not be presented for re-passing during this period. In view of the Starter's report with regard to MIGHTY STORM, this gelding was suspended for a period of 7 days and until recertified tractable with a companion. DAYLIGHT SAVER was suspended until such time as this colt proves tractable jumping and galloping from the stalls with a companion on a race day. Jockeys Kennedy, Storey and Apprentice Schwarz reported that they felt something amiss with their respective mounts in running. AFRICAN ADVENTURE and CROSS FROM GOA were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. At approximately the 400m CROSS FROM GOA was carried out by SPOOKY, which shifted out away from the crop and was immediately straightened. THE IRISHMAN raced equipped with a Cornell collar. Vet: THE IRISHMAN - not striding out left front. MIGHTY STORM - not striding out; cut on left hindquarter. QUEST FOR GOOD - examined post-race, nothing obvious detected.
