DOWN TO EARTH jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls and lost two lengths. BELLA BELLARINA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Govender was questioned with regard to the improved performance of BELLA BELLARINA compared to this filly's previous two performances. Trainer Govender stated that in his opinion, this filly in the early part of her career is better suited to race over 1000 meters. This is as a result of BELLA BELLARINA fading in the closing stages in her previous two races over 1200 meters. The future performances of this filly will be monitored by the Stipendiary Board.
