QUEEN OF POP was nervous in the stalls. ESCAPE TO VEGAS was stubborn loading. LOST MONARCH was stubborn loading, slow away and lost 2 lengths. GOLDEN MIRAGE was slow into stride. LOST MONARCH briefly dislodged Jockey Fortune en route to the start. Thereafter, in the running, this colt raced detached from the field after being out-paced in the early stages. Jockey Yeni reported that he felt something amiss with MY BOY JACK in the running. In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning MY BOY JACK, this colt was suspended for 120 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horse racing Authority. ESCAPE TO VEGAS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. QUEEN OF POP raced equipped with ear muffs.
