THE STARTER REPORTED: a) CLAREMORRIS (*J Gates) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) RAEESAH (A Domeyer), HOT GOSSIP (*G Pieterse) and NINA AMELIA (M Yeni) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. c) RAPID FIRE (L Hewitson) was slow losing one length. d) QUEEN OF WAR (J Penny) was slow losing two lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, NINA AMELIA (M Yeni) was bumped out by MISS BOOMERANG (N Qaule) who in turn was carried out by HOT GOSSIP (*G Pieterse) which jumped outwards sharply. b) Jockey W Marwing reported that CLOCK STOPPER (15,50 lengths) changed stride continually in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) DIAMONDS 'N DUST (S Khumalo) hung out from the 200m. d) Apprentice G Pieterse reported that HOT GOSSIP made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. e) The saddles on RAPID FIRE (L Hewitson) as well as RAEESAH (A Domeyer) slipped back in running. This was confirmed by the Stipendiary Board. f) The saddle on BIG CITY GIRL (C Zackey) slipped back in running. This was confirmed by the Veterinary Surgeon. g) RAPID FIRE (L Hewitson), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee A Mdiyana, acting on behalf of Trainers M/A Azzie, was advised (DR). JOCKEY CHANGES: None.
