THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) At approximately the 150m, ERATOSTHENES was brushed out by COVER CHARGE, which hung out from the 400m. Apprentice S Valjalo (COVER CHARGE) appeared before the Board and was advised to take more care to keep her mounts straight in races. c) Work Rider T Lukhele (CRANBERRY POINT) did not persevere with his riding from the 500m. Thereafter, Work Rider T Lukhele reported that this filly did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinarian was requested to examine. d) Work Rider C Mabaya was charged with a contravention of Rule 58.10.2 (read with Guideline M on the use of the crop) in that he, as the rider of VIXENINTHEVINEYARD, misused his crop by striking this filly more than ten times (11). Work Rider C Mabaya signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in one (1) Work Rider race. Suspension date: 27 June 2026. e) Work Rider S Mosia was charged with a contravention of Rule 58.10.2 (read with Guideline M on the use of the crop) in that he, as the rider of AINT NO DOUBT, misused his crop by striking this colt more than ten times (11). Work Rider S Mosia signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in one (1) Work Rider race. Suspension date: 27 June 2026. f) AINT NO DOUBT, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer F P Habib was advised (MduP). WORK RIDER CHANGES: a) VIXENINTHEVINEYARD: Work Rider C Mabaya weighed out at 58kg, 1kg over the carded weight as declared. b) CRANBERRY POINT: Work Rider T Lukhele weighed out at 57,5kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight as declared. THE VETERINARIAN REPORTED: a) CRANBERRY POINT not striding out right front. SCRATCHED: a) SILENT FUTURE insufficient recovery time (Trainer) (Rule 53.5 applies).
