THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE KNOCKIN' BOOTS PROVING STUBBORN LOADING.
THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) KNOCKIN' BOOTS was stubborn loading.
b) TREX ON FIRE jumped inwards leaving the stalls.
c) PILATES was slow, losing one length.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded.
b) Shortly after the start, IMPRESSIVE was brushed in by TREX ON FIRE, which jumped inwards leaving the stalls. As a consequence of this, BE THE ONE, GO FOR BROKE and PLATINUM SHAY were carried in by IMPRESSIVE, which shifted in.
c) At approximately the 200m, GO FOR BROKE was steadied momentarily when tightened for galloping room on the heels of BLOW MY TOP, and on the inside of KNOCKIN' BOOTS, which shifted out away from the crop. Shortly thereafter, KNOCKIN' BOOTS, which shifted out away from the crop, and BLOW MY TOP, which shifted in away from the crop, came together and brushed.
d) Apprentice B Marx-Jacobson reported that LA PARISIENNE changed stride continually in running.
The Veterinarian was requested to examine.
e) Jockey C Maujean reported that PILATES made an abnormal respiratory noise in running.

f) Jockey D Schwarz reported that SULTRY SHADOW made an abnormal respiratory noise in running.

g) Jockey G Lerena reported that TREX ON FIRE made an abnormal respiratory noise in running.

h) IMPRESSIVE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
