THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DOITWITHDIAMONDS was stubborn loading. b) KINGS AGAIN was nervous in the stalls and stood awkwardly. c) COMIC RELIEF was nervous in the stalls and jumped slow, losing one length. d) UNCONQUERABLE LADY was nervous in the stalls, jumped awkwardly and was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (15h30) b) COMIC RELIEF raced detached from the field from the 800m. The Veterinarian was requested to examine this filly. c) KINGS AGAIN shifted out away from the crop from the 200m. d) Jockey C Zackey did not persevere with his riding of UNCONQUERABLE LADY from the 100m and thereafter reported that this mare did not stride out freely in running and made an abnormal respiratory noise. The Veterinarian was requested to examine. The Stipendiary Board has exercised the provisions of Rule 49.7, and this mare is suspended pending a Veterinary Certificate prior to its next racing engagement. Trainer DG Smith was advised. Trainer DG Smith was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this mare on her return to the stables. e) Jockey C Maujean reported that SPORTS FAN did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinarian was requested to examine this filly. f) SONG OF MYSELF, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer DG Smith was advised.
