THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DANCING IN WINTER and POMODORO MAGIC were stubborn loading. b) THIS OR THAT was restless in the stalls, jumped awkwardly and made contact with the left side front gate leaving the stalls. c) GREENLIGHT DANCER was nervous in the stalls. d) BENEATH THE MOON jumped slow, losing one length. e) MIDNIGHT MUSIC and POWER OF TIGER were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Permission was granted for BENEATH THE MOON to be assisted by a lead pony when proceeding to the start. b) MIDNIGHT MUSIC stumbled shortly after the start. c) GREENLIGHT DANCER was buffeted between POWER OF TIGER and DANCING IN WINTER shortly after the start. d) ELUSIVE BOMBA raced wide without cover on the turn and into the straight. e) GREENLIGHT DANCER and POMODORO MAGIC were hanging in from the 300m. f) Apprentice W Fourie reported that MY AMI BEACH did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinarian was requested to examine this mare. g) DANCING IN WINTER, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer JL van Heerden was advised.
