THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TEQUILA TANGO reared in the stalls and dislodged Jockey G Wright without incident. This colt was taken out the stalls, examined by the Veterinarian, passed suitable to race and reloaded, causing a delay. Thereafter, TEQUILA TANGO was slow into stride. b) WILD STREAK and FLOWER BURST jumped slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, the saddle on LANDMAN slipped backwards. This was confirmed on the patrol film. b) At the 200m, LANDMAN, which raced green, shifted in away from the crop and had to be straightened when close to the heels of MY BONNY BOY, which was hanging out. c) In view of the report from the Starter regarding TEQUILA TANGO, Trainer VH Marshall was advised to have this colt re-schooled prior to her next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. d) MY BONNY BOY, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
