THE STARTER HAD NO REPORTS. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) After breaking on terms, BELLEROPHON refused to gallop from approximately the 2200m and, despite Jockey S Moodley's urgings, eased himself out of the race. In view of this performance, the Veterinarian was requested to examine. This gelding is suspended in terms of Rule 93.2.4, until such time as he proves tractable jumping and galloping with a companion from the starting stalls on a Raceday. Trainer F P Habib advised (DR). Trainer F P Habib was requested to report back to the Stipendiary Board on the condition of BELLEROPHON on return to stables. c) CORRUPT, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Mathew de Kock was advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. THE VETERINARIAN REPORTED: a) BELLEROPHON examined post-race, nothing obvious detected.
