THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TURBO POWER jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) ROYAL HORIZON was slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) Shortly after the start, ONE TIGER was unbalanced when bumped in by TURBO POWER, which jumped inwards leaving the stalls. c) TRIP OF FAITH over-raced around the turn. d) In view of the performance of HEMISPHERE, (distance 7,95 lengths, betting 20/1), the Veterinarian was requested to examine. e) In view of the performance of ENSUING, (distance 8,85 lengths, betting 33/1), the Veterinarian was requested to examine. f) Jockey M van Rensburg reported that he felt something amiss with STAGE ONE in running.
