THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) DELAROCHE kicked the back gates in the starting stalls, was taken out, examined by the Veterinarian and withdrawn, causing a delay.
b) INDESTRUCTABLE, ROYAL DAWN and AMERICAN GEM were stubborn loading.
c) FIVE STAR MAGIC was stubborn loading and jumped slow, losing one length.
d) BOSSY LADY jumped slow, losing three lengths.
e) SHOOTING ARROW jumped slow, losing one length.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (11h56)
b) All Riders were weighed out manually as there was a technical issue with the scale. This was reported to the Racing Operator.
c) FIVE STAR MAGIC refused to parade and proceeded directly to the start. Trainer E Kaknis was advised that should this mare behave in a similar manner in future engagements, she may be suspended.
d) INDESTRUCTABLE refused to take the first bend and, as a consequence, raced wide without cover.
e) MAGNUS THE GOOD was hanging in from the 300m.
f) FIVE STAR MAGIC was hanging in from the 250m.
g) YOU'RE MY ANGEL was hanging in and took a number of awkward strides in the latter stages. The Veterinarian was requested to examine this filly.
h) In view of the performance of BOSSY LADY, which shortened its stride in the latter stages, the Veterinarian was requested to examine this filly.
i) In view of the report from the Starter regarding BOSSY LADY, this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended for 7 days in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as she proves to be tractable to jump on terms with a companion. (Suspension dates: 04/07/2026 to 10/07/2026, both dates inclusive). BOSSY LADY may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer E Kaknis was advised.
j) ROYAL DAWN, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer TJ Laing was advised. (LM)
k) GREEN POINT, the third-placed horse, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer WGC Miller was advised. (LM)

a) BOSSY LADY - examined post-race. Not striding out.
b) YOU'RE MY ANGEL - examined post-race. Not striding out.
c) AMERICAN GEM - mouth injury and nick in left nostril.
d) MAGNUS THE GOOD - abnormal respiratory noise.
