THE STARTER REPORTED: a) UNITED FRONT was stubborn to load. b) NOTABLE was restless in the stalls. c) SOMMERSTERN lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (SR) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels after MAGMA MAGIC passed following a second test. b) Approaching the 300m SONG TO THE MOON was steadied when awkwardly placed on the inside of WORLD ORDER and on the heels of MAGMA MAGIC. Thereafter, SONG TO THE MOON, which was directed inwards, was steadied when awkwardly placed on the heels of PLACE OF PRACTICE, which in turn was squeezed out and steadied when awkwardly placed on the outside of ACT OF GRACE, which was directed out, away from the heels of UNITED FRONT and TOWN CRIER, which hung in from the 200m. c) NOTABLE was not persevered with from the 400m and thereafter Jockey C F Dicken reported that he felt something amiss with this gelding in the running. The Veterinarian was requested to examine. In view of the performance of UNITED FRONT (8.80 lengths and 10/1 in the betting), the Veterinarian was requested to examine. d) In view of the Veterinarian's report concerning TOWN CRIER, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this gelding is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. (Suspension dates : 05.07.2026 - 02.09.2026 bdi). Trainer S H Ferrie will be advised. e) SOMMERSTERN, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer L V Woodruff was advised (SP). f) NOTABLE, unplaced, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Y Singh was advised (MM). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Jockey C F Dicken was the rider of NOTABLE (advised 03.07.2026/11h33). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Trainer Y Singh is now the Trainer of NOTABLE (NHA). THE VETERINARIAN REPORTED : b) NOTABLE : Not striding out left hind, sensitive back and abrasion left eye. This gelding is suspended for a period of 60 days in terms of Rule 49.7 and thereafter is subject to two satisfactory Veterinary gallops on consecutive race days. c) UNITED FRONT : Abnormal respiratory noise. d) TOWN CRIER : Bilateral Epistaxis. 60-day suspension recommended. Returned post-race having cast the left front shoe.
