As a consequence VIKING LASS was directed inwards away from LADY HARLEQUIN, which was thereafter not persevered with. Jockey S Moodley was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7, in that as the rider of FERRARI FLAIR, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to LADY HARLEQUIN (Z Lloyd) at the 300m. Jockey S Moodley signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended for 7 days (Dates to be advised). c) At the 150m NO DRAMA jumped a shadow that was cast by the grandstand. d) Leaving the 100m VOLCANIC HEAT, which had come to the end of its run, rolled in and was steadied outwards away from RUSHING CHIMES. e) Shortly before the finish OCEAN MISTRESS was steadied in anticipation of running onto the heels of ALICE B TOKLAS which was directed outwards away from PALACE OF ARVERNIA. Jockey R Fourie appeared before the Board and was advised to take more care when shifting ground in races in future. f) In view of the performances of GUILD THE LILLY (16.65 lengths and 125/1 in the betting) and LADY HARLEQUIN (21.15 lengths and 40/1 in the betting), the Veterinarian was requested to examine. g) PALACE OF ARVERNIA, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
