THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PLATINUM GREY threw its head down as the start was effected and fly-jumped leaving the stalls, losing two lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (12h26) b) The Stewards reviewed the start with regard to PLATINUM GREY in stall gate 7 and were satisfied that this gelding had not been impeded in any way and therefore took no further action. c) HAVOC raced wide without cover in the early stages and, as a consequence, proved difficult to settle. d) CRACKER was hanging out on the latter part of the turn and into the straight. e) MORDECHAI, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
