THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FIRE FORCE and AUGRABIES lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DA) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) After being slow away FIRE FORCE raced detached from the field in the early and middle stages. c) CAPTIVE PRINCE commenced to over-race for a short distance approaching the 1200m. d) FUTURE PROSPECT hung in and shifted in from the 300m, proving difficult to assist in the concluding stages. e) Jockey K de Melo reported that AUGRABIES did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinarian was requested to examine. f) In view of the performance of APACHE AG (13.60 lengths and 10/1 in the betting), the Veterinarian was requested to examine. g) PEEPING TOM, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
