THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SAUDI SWEEP lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DA) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) FUTANO and WINTER BLESSING came together and bumped leaving the starting stalls. As a result, FUTANO lost position. c) Shortly after the start AUTUMN RUSH was squeezed out between SOVEREIGN GEM, and TIME IN PARIS which jumped inwards leaving the starting stalls. As a result, YOUR LADYSHIP was steadied in away from the heels of SOVEREIGN GEM which was carried in by TIME IN PARIS. d) Approaching the 800m SAUDI SWEEP was steadied to avoid running onto the heels of KALI BWANA. e) Approaching the 800m AUTUMN RUSH which proved difficult to settle in the early stages, was carried out by SOVEREIGN GEM, which rolled out. f) OCOTILLO hung in from the 250m. g) FUTANO and WINTER BLESSING hung in, in the concluding stages. h) In view of the performance of WINTER BLESSING (9.75 lengths and 7/1 in the betting), the Veterinarian was requested to examine. i) INNERBLOOM, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer L V Woodruff was advised (SP). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Jockey C Little was the rider of OCOTILLO (advised 10.07.2026/14h54). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) SOVEREIGN GEM raced in the Operator's colours (Stewards' permission). THE VETERINARIAN REPORTED : a) WINTER BLESSING : Nothing obvious detected. b) CAPRICIOUS MISS : Returned post-race having lifted the right front shoe. c) AUTUMN RUSH : Coughing. SCRATCHINGS : a) Nil.
