THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FLAMETHROWER was stubborn to load. b) ONE ARMED BANDIT, FLAMETHROWER and PROFESSOR LUPIN lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (SR) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) Shortly after the start, LUNCH MONEY had its hindquarters turned outwards when bumped by FLAMETHROWER which was carried out by IRON WILL which jumped outwards leaving the starting stalls. c) LUNCH MONEY hung in badly from the 350m. d) Shortly before the finish, Apprentice G Samo-Burthia's (LUNCH MONEY) crop was accidentally struck from his hand by Apprentice J Botes (ONE ARMED BANDIT). e) Apprentice J Botes reported that ONE ARMED BANDIT did not stride out freely post-race. The Veterinarian was requested to examine. f) In view of the performance of INDECENT PROPOSAL (19.10 lengths, 9/2 in the betting) the Veterinarian was requested to examine. g) Apprentice S E Sesingi (CHAMPAGNE MAC) completed a satisfactory qualifying ride. h) LUNCH MONEY, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
