THE STARTER REPORTED: a) NIGHT FEVER and VERSE FOR SUZANNE jumped slow, losing one length. b) MISS ARIZONA jumped inwards. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (11h33) b) Shortly after the start, GIMME PERFECT was bumped inwards by MISS ARIZONA and made contact with COLORADO COLUMBINE. c) In view of the performance of EVANA, which was hanging out throughout and raced awkwardly on the turn, the Veterinarian was requested to examine this filly. d) VERSE FOR SUZANNE raced wide on the latter part of the turn and into the straight. e) Jockey JP van der Merwe reported that COLORADO COLUMBINE did not stride out freely in running.
