THE STARTER REPORTED: a) LANDMAN fly-jumped and made contact with the right front gate leaving the stalls. b) FOURTH OF JULY and MAGIC ROCK were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (12h07) b) In view of the performance of LANDMAN, which over raced in the early stages, raced awkwardly on the turn and raced wide into the straight, the Veterinarian was requested to examine this colt. c) At the 100m, WILD STREAK bumped MAGIC ROCK, which raced green and shifted in. d) RACHETTU, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer C Snaith, acting on behalf of Trainer SJ Snaith, was advised. (SC) e) FOURTH OF JULY, the second-placed horse, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer GW Ennion was advised. (SC) JOCKEY CHANGES: a) Nil THE VETERINARIAN REPORTED: a) LANDMAN - examined post-race. Nothing obvious detected. Assistant Trainer C Snaith, acting on behalf of Trainer SJ Snaith, was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this colt on his return to the stables. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHINGS.
