THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (12h43) b) Shortly after the start, THE BIG BANG shifted out away from MADRA RUA (IRE) and made contact with GROOVE MASTER. c) In view of the performance of THE BIG BANG, which proved difficult to settle in the early stages and raced wide on the turn and into the straight, the Veterinarian was requested to examine this gelding. d) ROYAL INFLUENCER, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer C Snaith, acting on behalf of Trainer SJ Snaith, was advised. (ZM) e) HAVOC, the second-placed horse, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
