THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (JN) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels after CATFISH passed following a second test. b) Entering the straight WORLD SERIES was brushed out by FISH TALES, which rolled out away from the heels of BENNY AND PAUL. c) After being slow away GRANDE HAWAII raced detached from the field throughout and was not persevered with from the 400m. Thereafter, Jockey L Hewitson reported that this filly took no interest in the running. The Veterinarian was requested to examine. d) SOUNDSOFSYMPHONIES hung in from the 350m. Thereafter, Apprentice B Soodoo reported that the bit slipped through this colt's mouth in the running. e) SANDS OF VALHALLA and GIMME SOME LUCK raced green. f) Jockey C Zackey reported that ST HARRY (AUS) made an abnormal respiratory noise in the running. The Veterinarian was requested to examine. g) In view of the performances of SOUNDSOFSYMPHONIES (12.90 lengths and 66/1 in the betting) and U S RANGER (13.60 lengths and 33/10 in the betting), the Veterinarian was requested to examine. Trainer A C Greeff will be asked to report back on the condition of U S RANGER on return to stables. h) In view of the Starter's report with regard to KUDIKARAN, this gelding's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. (Suspension dates: 27.07.2026 to the 02.08.2026 bdi). KUDIKARAN may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer M Pandaram will be advised. i) In view of the Starter's report with regard to GRANDE HAWAII, this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable to jump on terms with a companion. (Suspension dates: 27.07.2026 to the 02.08.2026 bdi). GRANDE HAWAII may not be presented for re-passing during this period.
