Trainer AC Greeff was informed that the second blood specimen had revealed a level above the threshold of 38 mmol/L and that consequently JEWEL MULE was scratched from this race in terms of the provisions of Rules 72.1.23; 4.2.14 and 4.2.18. (Withdrawn at 12h37, 63/100 in the betting). JEWEL MULE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer AC Greeff was advised. (Mr L Douse)
