THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ODDS AND EVENS was fractious in the stalls. b) NTIBINDI stood awkwardly and jumped slow, losing one length. c) BE RATIONAL jumped slow, losing one length. d) UNITED WE STAND jumped slow, losing two lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (14h05) b) The start of this race was delayed due to the delay in the previous race. c) PROXIMA and REMUNERATION made contact shortly after the start. d) LIMERANCE over raced in the early stages. e) NTIBINDI, which proved difficult to settle in the early stages, raced wide on the turn and into the straight. f) RUNWAY ROMANCE raced wide on the turn and into the straight. g) PROXIMA was hanging out in the straight. h) UNITED WE STAND was continually held up for a clear run between the 150m and the finish. i) In view of the performances of MOONSHINE BAY and MACRO GRAVITY, the Veterinarian was requested to examine these fillies. j) ODDS AND EVENS, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
