THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MR FIXIT was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DM) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) CARDINAL CHIEF raced wide and without cover around the turn and into the straight. c) MR FIXIT gave ground to the field from the top of the straight. In view of this, the Veterinarian was requested to examine. d) Approaching the 200m Jockey M Yeni (BRUH) hesitated with his riding in anticipation of being awkwardly placed on the heels of CARDINAL CHIEF, which shifted in from the 350m. e) Jockey S Moodley reported that he felt something amiss in the running with BANGLADESH. The Veterinarian was requested to examine. f) POWERANDTHEGLORY, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
