THE STARTER REPORTED: a) During the initial loading process, SILVONIAN loaded satisfactorily. After his removal from the stalls and during the reload, he was reluctant to load. b) KLEINZEE was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (15h11) b) Shortly before the start was effected, communication was received that there was a cow on the track at the 2000m. All horses were taken out of the stalls, the cow was moved off the track and the horses were reloaded, causing a delay. c) SILVONIAN was hanging in from the 400m and was corrected at the 100m. d) KLEINZEE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
