THE STARTER REPORTED: a) During the loading process, CAPTAIN CARNAGE broke through the front gates of the starting stalls. Trainer D Swanson was advised to reschool this gelding prior to his next engagement (AH). b) CAPTAIN CARNAGE jumped inwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) During the loading process, CAPTAIN CARNAGE broke through the front gates of the starting stall. This gelding was restrained by Jockey W Agrella and examined by the Veterinarian. CAPTAIN CARNAGE was passed fit to race and subsequently reloaded. b) Shortly after the start, CHILI BOMB and CAPTAIN CARNAGE, which jumped inwards leaving the stalls, came together and bumped. c) CHILI BOMB hung out from the 200m. d) WAITING ON CHARLIE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
