THE STARTER REPORTED: a) The start of this race was effected manually. b) ONE PATH jumped awkwardly and lost 1 length. c) AMPHITRITE lost 1 length and thereafter, was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DA) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) ECHO raced wide around the turn. c) OCOTILLO hung in, in the straight. d) Leaving the 300m Apprentice D Pillay (ROY'S GRACE) briefly hesitated with his riding in anticipation of being awkwardly placed on the heels of ONE PATH, which rolled in. e) In the concluding stages PARTY GIRL was directed in, away from the heels of DANCING IN DEMARK, which rolled in. f) In view of the performance of QUANDURA (4.10 lengths and 11/2 in the betting), the Veterinarian was requested to examine. g) ROY'S GRACE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
