THE STARTER REPORTED: a) A fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (JN) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) Shortly after the start KING'S ISLAND and RAGNAR THE KING came together and bumped. c) SAIL TO THE MOON, which commenced to over-race, proved difficult to settle in the early and middle stages and raced wide on the turn and into the straight. d) At the 250m Jockey C Habib (DOG SOLDIER) accidentally dropped his right-side rein, which he regained shortly thereafter. e) RAGNAR THE KING hung in, in the concluding stages. f) In view of the performances of SEND ME (4.80 lengths and 3/1 in the betting) and SAIL TO THE MOON (8.70 lengths and 10/1 in the betting) , the Veterinarian was requested to examine. g) REAL STUNNER, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
