THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (15h14) b) BEHAVE HARRIS and CELTIC CHIEF over raced in the early and middle stages. c) At the 250m, CATWALK KING and VERCICAT brushed when carried inwards slightly by IRELAND FOREVER, which rolled in and was immediately straightened. d) At the 50m, CATWALK KING and VERCICAT brushed when racing tight between BEHAVE HARRIS, which initially showed a tendency to hang in, then shifted out away from the crop and was straightened, and IRELAND FOREVER, which rolled in slightly. Jockey K Matsunye reviewed this incident and after taking into account the distance between the horses concerned, took no further action. e) CATWALK KING had to be steadied when awkwardly placed on the inside of IRELAND FOREVER at the finish. f) IRELAND FOREVER, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
