THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FAIRY GARDEN, QUITE A DAY and TIMELESS WONDER lost 2 lengths. b) SWEET FAYE lost 3 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (JN) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) As the start was effected MISS CHARISMA was bumped by SISTERSHIP, which jumped inwards leaving the starting stalls. c) SECRET AMBITION jumped awkwardly leaving the starting stalls, making contact with the right front gate. d) After being slow away, FAIRY GARDEN failed to muster speed on debut and trailed the field up until the 250m, when, in responding to Jockey C Little's urgings, this filly managed to regain contact with the field in the concluding stages. e) INTERSTELLAR hung in behind runners in the concluding stages. f) Jockey C Zackey reported that he felt something amiss with QUITE A DAY in the running. The Veterinarian was requested to examine. g) In view of the performance of NEW CHAPTER (11.50 lengths and 66/1 in the betting), the Veterinarian was requested to examine. h) SISTERSHIP, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A G Laird was advised (DZ). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Jockey J Jacobs (VIVALTO) weighed out at 58kg, 0.5kg over the carded weight. THE VETERINARIAN REPORTED : a) QUITE A DAY : Not striding out. b) NEW CHAPTER : Nothing obvious detected. c) SEQUENTIAL : Speedy cut left hind. d) SECRET AMBITION : Coughing.
